RE: No awning on slide???

I also had awnings on my other 5th wheel and the wind and the sun played havoc on them and they are expensive to replace. The camper I have now did not come with them and it is doing just fine. I do sweep the slides off if I camp in a bunch of shade and the leaves are falling. No leaking problems eather.

RE: Jerking when braking at lower speeds... Need Help!!!

I agree on the brake drums out of round or warped. On a car it will do the same thing if the rotors or warped or out of round usually cause by heat, but even new drums can be out of round.

Electrial Question

My camper is equiped with a 50 amper plug. When I come home to plug it in I have a 30 amper adapter pig tail that I plug into my house which is a 20 amper curcuit. My question is I have a 50 amper 220 plug that I use for my welder which is a three wire could I make up a pig tail to plug into that 220 recepticial to run my camper off of. The plug on my camper says it is a 125/250v grounding 4 wire. With the 20 amper plug I have kicked my circuit a few times when I turn my air conditioner on.

Removing the rubber caulking

Is there a easy way to remove the caulking around a vent on the roof? Are is it just going to be lot of elbow grease and scraping to get it off with out tearing my rubber roof? I am fixing to put a 2nd air conditioner on my roof.
Thanks for any comments.

Sewer Hose

I have not got a proper place to store my sewer hose. In the compartment down under is not a good place. I was going to try and put it in a 4" pvc pipe under the camper but it is to small for it to fit into. Do any of you all have a solution to this problem? Any tips would be grateful.

RE: Adding a second air conditoner

If I add one should it be a low profile or will the regular 13500 be ok as for the height?

RE: NO Power HELP!!!

I would also say check the battery. I know with out 12 volt your frig want run. I would check my 12 volt lights to see if they come on. Just a thought.

RE: keystone electrical issues

Sorry to say I had the same problem when I had a 27RLD Laredo. It also caused me to burn up my air conditioner. I have not had this problem since I got the new camper with 50amp service. Be sure and just run what you have to to prevent this problem.

Air pressure in tires

Getting ready to make first trip in my new fifth wheel to Daytona race. The tires are E-load tires and they call for a max pressure of 80psi what pressure should I run in them. The full 80 pounds are a little less I know that to little will cause problems.
Thanks all

RE: hot water tank not lighting

My hot water tank has a by-pass on it and if it is in by-pass it won't lite. The by-pass is for winterizing it. This happened to me once. What type camper do you have.

RE: Electrical problem

On my last camper I think I had the same problem and I turned it off and back on and it reset it's self. You can also read the instructions that came with it for further help. I think that is how I found out what to do to solve my problem because it has to have the 12 volt battery to run properly.
